Today, we’re introducing you to Mircea Rad; a Junior Software Engineer here at Trail.
I’ve been working in the IT field for almost a year now. Last year I completed training with the Access Academy and then soon after I joined Trail. It’s my first job in this field and I didn’t expect to find such a welcoming team.
I’m a Junior Software Engineer and work in the product team. We are responsible for maintaining the app, fixing any bugs and adding new features.
The ‘make the tea’ Trail value is the most important one for me:
Make the tea. ‘Be thoughtful, generous, and kind. No politics, no games. Put yourself in the shoes of others, act with compassion and cover each other when life happens.
It’s something that impresses me about the way we work internally as a company.
Take the positive energy from the team and channel that into your own work and performance.
It’s not a single thing, but I think the best moments at Trail come when you need help or you have a problem. Everyone tries to help you and I’ve never felt let down when I’ve needed support.
