Not many restaurant chains can claim to have changed the dining landscape quite as much as the iconic YO! Sushi. Since opening their first outpost back in 1997 in London’s Soho, they now have nearly 100 restaurants all around the world serving up delicious sushi, one revolving dish at a time.
As you might imagine with such a busy business with so many moving plates - with great power, comes great operational responsibility. We caught up with YO! Sushi’s Compliance Manager Dinesh Rawat to find out how they’re using Trail day-to-day to support the smooth running of operations within the business.
I’m YO!’s Safety Compliance Officer. An average day can include visiting our kiosk and restaurant sites supporting with audits, or helping sites with health and food safety related concerns, questions and complaints.
Before joining Trail making a change in a printed due diligence record book was a lengthy and time-consuming process. Managing accurate completion of these records were also very difficult without physically visiting each site. Both of these issues have been resolved by using Trail, as we can now manage these types of tasks digitally and centrally.
We already used Trail in around 100 sites for one of our brands and we found it was very easy to use and effective - so we decided to switch to Trail for all of our brands!
Trail's ability to work offline.
My favourite thing is that any feedback or suggestions we have submitted are implemented very quickly.
Trail has made it really easy for us to quickly review how our sites and brands are completing due diligence records, saving us a huge amount of time.
