Today, we’re introducing you to Simone Werzberger; Trail’s Head of Operations.
I worked in media sales and partnerships for 4 years until I decided that type of work just wasn't for me. So, to move away from it I started running operations in my family business - an online car buying company.
After moving to the UK from Australia, I realised I wanted to work in a small, innovative business with good values, which, long story short, is how I ended up at Trail.
I’m Trail’s Head of Operations. I manage all of the internal operations of the business to make sure Trail is running like a well-oiled machine in the background, so the team can do their best work for our customers. I take care of everything from finance, systems and processes through to HR and culture.
Be human - we really care for each other at Trail. We are always people first before colleagues, we cover each other when life happens and we treat each other with kindness and respect. Trail embodies this value everyday and I would never work anywhere that didn't.
Break tasks down by urgency. Work out what must be done today, then create separate lists based on urgency. And most importantly, be realistic with what you can actually achieve in a day!
It has to be the Trail trip! Heading away on a 2 day retreat with the team where we work together to build our strategy for the year and spend time bonding as a team ❤️
